Strilets
Our ballistic calculator meets the highest standarts, whether you're a gun enthusiast, a professional sniper, or a military specialist.
We offer a tool that combines cutting-edge technologies with a user-friendly interface, ensuring precision and reliability in strategizing your every shot.
How does it work?
A ballistic calculator is an essential tool for shooters and hunters, enabling them to determine the bullet's trajectory with utmost accuracy. It enhances shooting accuracy by allowing you to select the optimal parameters based on specific conditions.
Consideration of shooting conditions
Our calculator analyzes various parameters, such as distance to the target, altitude above sea level, air temperature, and wind conditions. This ensures high accuracy in predicting the bullet's trajectory, even in challenging weather conditions.
Adaptation to ammunition
Users can choose from a wide database of bullet types that includes different kinds of ammunition. Depending on the selected ammunition, the system automatically adjusts calculations to provide the most accurate results.
Intuitive interface
The calculator features a user-friendly and easy-to-use interface, allowing you to adjust your calculations quickly. The application is designed to display all profile information clearly and compactly, and you can create multiple profiles depending on the ammunition and weapons you use. Configure them once, and return to your settings at any time.
Functions
Description of the function
This feature is indispensable for professional shooters and hunters. It allows you to optimize your shot for specific conditions and choose the parameter to adjust the trajectory: bullet velocity or ballistic coefficient.
This feature helps you choose the ideal caliber and cartridge for your shooting tasks. It allows you to configure bullets selected from the "My cartridges" list and custom-made bullets for specific tasks, and compare them with library samples at the distance set by you.
The unique "Multiple targets" feature is useful for both sportsmen and military personnel. Pre-create your fire card, where you can save the parameters of each target and choose the format for displaying corrections: MOA, MRAD, centimeters, or clicks.
This feature will become a favorite among PRS (Precision Rifle Series) athletes. It allows you to configure up to 10 targets, set a wide range of parameters, and view all the targets simultaneously in a single target reticle window. This eliminates the need to adjust the sight settings, allowing you to simply correct the holdover required to hit the target.
The "Multiple winds" feature is the result of meticulous work by our engineers. It is indispensable in challenging wind conditions, such as mountainous terrain, urban areas, or long distances.
Users can configure up to three winds, specifying the start and end of the range, direction, and speed for each. The application will calculate the necessary parameters and provide the final result, allowing you to make accurate corrections for a shot at the specified distance.
Parameters and features
Our calculator allows you to configure:
- Bullet velocity. Enter the initial bullet velocity to determine its trajectory
- Ballistic coefficient (BC). Set the BC value for more accurate modeling of the bullet's trajectory
- Actual correction. Choose units of measurement — MOA, MIL, centimeters, or clicks — to adjust the correction
For calculations, you can consider additional environmental factors: air temperature, absolute pressure, humidity, derivation, Coriolis effect, Magnus effect.
- Choose ready-made or custom bullets for comparison
- Configure bullet parameters to meet your specific needs
- Compare the ballistics of bullets with different calibers and parameters simultaneously
- Compare custom-made cartridges with library samples to obtain comprehensive data
This feature enables shooters to analyze various bullet types in detail, optimize their settings, and improve shooting results. For example, if you’re a hunter, and your target is at a distance of 500 meters, you can assess the bullet’s energy and decide whether it’s sufficient to achieve your target.
This feature allows you to:
- Enter up to 20 different targets
- Set environmental parameters for accurate calculations under various weather conditions
- Select the desired target and apply its parameters to switch to the working page with settings
Users can modify each target's parameters based on conditions, allowing maximum preparation for shooting.
This is a powerful tool for experienced shooters who want to achieve the best results!
In the "Holdover Shooting" feature, parameters are divided into two units:
- Reticle parameters: target reticle, vertical and horizontal corrections in MOA or MIL, vertical and horizontal clicks values.
- Target settings: target name, corrections (in MOA, MIL, centimeters, clicks), target (you can choose a target), distance to the target, angle of elevation, wind speed, wind angle, target color, additional environmental parameters (temperature, absolute pressure, humidity, derivation, Coriolis effect, and Magnus effect).
Advantages:
- Configure up to 10 targets simultaneously
- View all targets in a single target reticle window
- Easy holdover shooting without changing sight settings
Wind parameters that can be configured:
- Name
- Start and end of the range (distance affected by wind)
- Angle (direction)
- Speed
